    Семья родом из Гатчины.Её предки были купцами 1 гильдии. Ее отца убили бандиты в 1920,и бабушка Поля выросла без отца. У нее были брат и сестра (Борис и Раиса-(во время войны жила в Блокадном Ленинграде)) В период борьбы с Космополитизмом бабушке предложили уволиться (в тот момент на руках у нее был 2-месячный сын(папа)) Дедушка тоже не мог устроиться,он написал министру обороны Василевскому,в письме он перечислил свои и жены боевые награды,письмо подействовало бабушку не уволили. В 14 лет уехала учиться (1930)в Николаев в ФЗУ-затем закончила Ленинградский институт связи имени Бонч-Бруевича. В зиму 1930 семья была спасена от голода,когда брат отца смог переправить из Киева мешок сухарей. В декабре 1941 ушла добровольцем на фронт,когда у нее на руках скончался тяжелораненный жених. Была демобилизована в 1943 в звании старший лейтенант.Участница Сталинградской битвы,Инженер-связист.Есть фотографии и награды военных лет.
