Врач‑отоларинголог. С евреев‑бедняков он не брал плату за прием или назначал чисто символическую сумму, за что удостоился повального уважения в Вильно и его окрестностях. Попав в лагерь был выкуплен из него своей польской домроботницей Ядзей. Потом был заключен в гетто с женой и старшей дочерью Любой. Их спасли от гибели литовский ксендз Юозас Стакаускас и монахиня Мария Микульска. В конце 1950‑х вместе с семьей репатриировался в Израиль.
