один из руководителей Бетара, моряк. В Эрец-Исраэль с 1913 г. Вступив в конце 1920-х гг. в Бетар, он вскоре стал членом правления и занимался организацией в Европе курсов самообороны, на которых обучались тысячи членов движения. В 1934 г. создал и возглавил морскую школу Бетара в Чивитавеккья (Италия). После образования Государства Израиль И. Гальперин основал морской музей в Эйлате. Им написана книга «Ави Михаэль Хелперн» («Мой отец Михаэль Хельперн», 1964, издана посмертно).
