Gerry Bron - Biography

Gerald L. Bron (born 1 March 1933, Hendon, Middlesex) is an English record producer and band manager. In his early days, he managed the Bonzo Dog Band.

Bron is the brother of actress Eleanor Bron. His family is Jewish. He is also of Eastern European origin. His father shortened the surname to "Bron" from "Bronstein" when founding Bron's Orchestral Service.

Bron's record label, Bronze Records, was home to many popular bands. In recent years he has been involved in a diverse range of musical projects, releasing a number of records for songwriter and musician Paddy Milner and Rockford's Christmas, a record which inspired the audiobook Rockford's Rock Opera.
