(в польские времена Solodkowce) — в эпоху Речи Посполитой местечко Подольского воеводства. В 1765 г. в С. и окрестных деревнях числилось 530 евреев.

Ныне — местечко Подольской губ., Ушицкого уезда. По ревизии 1847 г. "Солобковецкое еврейск. общ." состояло из 1550 душ. По переписи 1897 г. жит. 3372, среди них 1307 евреев.
