Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore

 The Guado al Tasso estate is located near Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, 60 miles southwest of Florence. The 750 acres given over to the estate's vineyards are at the center of the so-called ”Bolgheri amphitheater”: rolling hillsides that surround a splendid plain that slopes gently towards the sea, creating a micro-climate with outstanding properties. Guado al Tasso, the flagship wine of the estate, expresses all of the power and suppleness of this corner of the upper Maremma.
Depending on the vintage the blend might vary. Formerly Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore was labeled as Tenuta Belvedere. The 2020 Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso is a rich, resonant wine that captures the natural radiance of the Tuscan Coast. Blackberry jam, mocha, plum, chocolate, spice, and espresso all build in a mid-weight yet succulent, inviting Bolgheri red. There's terrific richness and resonance here. This is a classic Guado al Tasso.
