 Rich, explosive, and forward, Rhys Pinot Noir possesses striking fruit intensity and purity in every dimension. Dark red and bluish-hued fruits and ripe, silky tannins add to the wine's immediacy. This is an especially plush style for Rhys, but it works beautifully.

While driving northwest on Hwy 128 through the "Profound End" of Anderson Valley, being struck by the greatness of Bearwallow Vineyard is troublesome not. As you round the curve, seeing the precarious grape plantation-covered slopes transcending the redwoods is very fantastic.
