Zachary Test - Biography

Zachary "Zach" Test (born October 13, 1989) is an American rugby union player who represents the United States on the national sevens team and national under-20 rugby union team.

Early life

Test is Jewish, and was born in Woodside, California. He attended Woodside High School, graduating in 2007.

International

Test made his sevens senior debut during the 2008–09 IRB Sevens World Series and represented the United States at the Hong Kong, Adelaide and London Sevens. Zach began his collegiate career playing football in 2007 at the University of Oregon as a wide receiver under Mike Belloti. Zach also played rugby for the University of Oregon helping them qualify for the regional playoffs.

In 2009, Craig Levine chose Test to his final squad for the rugby union competition of the United States Maccabiah rugby union team which participated at the 2009 Maccabi Games. Test was instrumental in helping the squad win the bronze medal beating the Israel national rugby union team at Herzliya Municipal Stadium.
