Элиэ́йзер Ште́йнбарг (идиш אליעזר שטײנבאַרג, Ле́йзер О́вшиевич (Ла́зарь Овсеевич) Ште́йнберг; 2 марта 1880, Липканы Хотинского уезда Бессарабской губернии — 27 марта 1932, Черновицы, Румыния) — еврейский баснописец, поэт, драматург, педагог. Классик еврейской литературы на идише. Известный поэт на идиш и педагог. С 1919 жил в Черновцах. К концу 1920-х гг. появилась более идишизированная форма Штейнбарг, по всей видимости связанная с его тягой к фольклоризации и живой разговорной речи, а также с широкой популярностью его кузена — писателя Иегуды Штейнберга. Outstanding Yiddish poet and educator. From 1919 lived in Chernowitz.
