Отец "заслуженных Эйдельманов республики" - Ильи, Аркадия и Иосифа - Лев Ильич происходит из большой семьи, проживавшей долгие годы в Борисове. Было у него пять братьев и четыре сестры. Все со временем выучились, стали служащими, а Григорий - крупным профсоюзным работником. Потомки этой большой семьи живут сегодня в Беларуси, США, Германии, а больше всего их в Израиле. Так распорядилась судьба.
