Married his childhood neighbor in Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York. Grew up and lived until 1950s 600+ feet from Patricia (Holahan) Blooms home at 141 Franklin Avenue, Staten Island, New York. Lifelong member of and sang in Mens Choir of Christ Church, 76 Franklin Avenue, New Brighton, Staten Island, New York....the same church the Jewish Patricia (Holahan) Bloom joined in the 2000s. Adoptive grandfather to John Kenneth Anthony (born Howard), to Patricia Howard (nee Holahan).
