Доктор исторических наук. Начиная с 1937 года прошла через детприемник, тюрьму, ссылку. " Ее отправили в знаменитый приют для детей «врагов народа» при Даниловском монастыре. Но ей удалось оттуда удрать. И она приехала к нам с бабушкой. В 1945 году Зоря получила разрешение жить в Москве, поступила в МГУ, а в 1949-м была арестована".
