Второй ребенок. Первый, кто пербрался из Бирзулы в Одессу, женившись на одесситке, семья, которой владела обувной фабрики. Во время войны ушел на фронт, а его жену и детей уничтожили немцы, занявшие Одессу. Он вернулся с войны, но не смог пережить их смерть, вскорости заболел раком и умер.
