Lucy McAdam Freud was born in Paddington, North London to Katherine McAdam and Lucian Freud, both Artists and is the third of their four children. She is the great granddaughter of Sigmund Freud the Psychoanalyst. From a young age Lucy excelled in the Arts, winning competitions from the age of 10. Lucy was married in her early twenties and has two children Peter and James Everett. Lucy has studied at Wimbledon School of Art and also at the Royal Academy Schools. Lucy has exhibited work at the Mayfair Arts Club, Mall Galleries, Originals Contemporary Printmaking Show and the Royal Academy Schools and her works have been auctioned by Christies, Bonhams and Sotheby's. Lucy participated in the Anglo MockBa 2009 in Moscow, Russia, she was part of the British contingent with Gavin Turk, Stephen Friers, Michael Nyman and other artists representing british art, film, music and writing. While Lucy is currently painting and monoprinting she has also incorporated performance, installation and film in her work.
