Moshe Hillel Hirsch - Biography

Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch is currently the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Slabodka in Bnei Brak, Israel. He is a native of America who learned in Lakewood yeshiva under the Talmudic tutelage of Rabbi Aharon Kotler.

He is the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Shulman, whom he succeeded as Rosh Yeshiva in Yeshivas Slabodka, who was the son-in-law of Rabbi Issac Sher, who was the son-in-law of the Alter of Slabodka.

Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch is very involved in the leadership of World Jewry (e.g. see [1]), [2].

Despite living in Israel, Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch is quite well known on the rabbinical speaking circuit in America Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch eulogized Rabbi Noach Weinberg for an English-speaking audience.
