Он заведовал отделом финансов на «Мосфильме». Он был в свое время комиссаром легендарного Богунского полка , членом партии «Поалей Цион» , но когда эта партия практически слилась с партией большевиков, его туда не взяли из-за социального происхождения. Он поменял фамилию с Брудко на Брудник и всю жизнь каким-то образом вполне преуспевал.
